Cheryl Fowler, President - SJCC Worknet Cheryl Fowler was born and raised in Tracy. After graduating from Tracy High, she married and moved to Virginia while her husband was in the military. They returned to Tracy and eventually started a family. They have four children, ages 11–20. Cheryl was in retail management for 25 years and is currently employed with San Joaquin County. She has been stationed at the Tracy WorkNet Center as an Employment Services Specialist II since August 2000. Her job involves working primarily with Tracy area employers to fill their recruitment needs and marketing WorkNet’s programs within the community. Cheryl has been involved with the Tracy Women’s Forum Association in varying capacities since the fall of 2000. Cheryl has also been very involved with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce. She has been in the Ambassador program for almost six years and was named 2005 Ambassador of the Year. She currently serves on the Board of Directors’ Executive Committee and is the 2007 Chairperson of the Chamber. Other professional and community groups that Cheryl is affiliated with are the Lathrop Sunrise Rotary, Lathrop Chamber of Commerce, Tracy Educational Excellence Foundation, Job Developers Association, Greater Stockton Employer Advisory Council, San Joaquin Human Resource Association, Sutter Tracy’s First 5 Family Success Team member, Girl Scouts Troop 1267, and the Tracy Cougars Youth Football. She has also helped raise funds for the Womens Center of San Joaquin, Surtec’s Adopt-A-Family, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay-for-Life.
Liz Baker, Vice President - Employment Development Department Liz Baker is a founding board member of the Tracy Women’s Forum Association. Having served on the board for 9 years, she held the position of Vice-President in 2005 and currently serves as the board’s Secretary. Liz has been a resident of Tracy for 16 years. She and her husband Howard raised their 2 children here and each of them graduated from West H.S./IGCG. Liz holds a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and is a Labor Market Analyst for the State EDD—Labor Market Information Division. Liz is active in her church (Good News MBC) and enjoys spending time with family, reading, singing (in church) and helping others. Each year at the forum, Liz is amazed how a single event has such a positive impact on so many women’s life. The TWF motto—To Inspire and Encourage Women—is truly what motivates her year after year to help produce an exceptional event for all the exceptional women in Tracy and the surrounding area.
Alesia Batiste, Treasurer - M.H. Chew & Associates, Inc. Alesia Batiste is the Office Manager/Accountant for a Safety and Engineering consulting firm located in Livermore. She will soon be completing her studies and will acquire a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Management. Her motto is “It is never too late to accomplish your goals.” As a former attendee of the Tracy Women’s Forum, she was inspired by the efforts of the association and became a member in 2006. She has been a resident in Tracy since 1996, married for 30 years, and is the mother of three with one grandchild.

Christine Carrier - Take Care Termite Christine is an experienced business woman who manages and owns a reputable pest control company, Take Care Termite. She gained her professionalism during her administrative and computer assignments at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). While raising a family and growing a business, she was able to complete her Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific. Christine has always felt led to help others. She takes pride in working with the board members of the Tracy Women’s Forum and is inspired to educate, enrich and enhance women. In her leisure, she enjoys sharing quality time with family (especially granddaughter, Amara) and good friends. Being physically active and staying in shape is a priority and Christine does this by working out at In-Shape, playing golf, bike riding, hiking or dancing.
Kelly Hendrix Kelly is an educator, volunteer, and artist. She is currently working as a 6th grade Math and Science teacher and Drama Coach in Mountain House. Because she enjoys being of service to others and improving her community, Kelly is active in various social service functions. As an artist and performer, Kelly sings, acts, designs costumes and theatrical sets and volunteers as a board member for the Tracy Performing Arts Foundation. Pamela MacGregor - Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Pam MacGregor has been with the Tracy Women's Forum Association since its formation 10 years ago. She served on the board for 8 years, including two as Secretary. Pam became involved in the Tracy community during a five-year break from employment at Lawrence Livermore. She worked as membership coordinator for the Tracy Chamber of Commerce and started up a home-based Web design company for local businesses. Pam returned to the Laboratory in 2001 and works as a production editor for the Laboratory's Science and Technology Review magazine. She is the mother of two grown sons.

Sheryl Atkins Sheryl Atkins is a Staff Specialist for a Bay Area city government. After visiting friends in Tracy in 1992, she and her husband James fell in love with the town. They promptly decided to call it home. They have both enjoyed living in Tracy for the past 15 years. Her favorite quote, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced” by James Baldwin has been a motto to live by. She has been a member of the Tracy’s Women Forum Association for 4 years and is inspired by the groups extraordinary efforts to educate, motivate and encourage women from all backgrounds. She is active in her church and loves singing in the choir. In her spare time she enjoys old movies, concerts and reading.
Shawn Kish Shawn has lived in Tracy for 13 years, and with her husband Dan, is in the process of raising two fine young men. Her background is in Information Technology, and she has worked for 15 years as a Systems Analyst. Currently she is very excited about launching her new business which combines her computer background with her creative abilities. After participating in the 2006 Women’s Conference, Shawn was impressed with the positive impact the event had on the women in the community, and is proud to be a member of the Tracy Women’s Forum Association.
Paula Marsh Paula Marsh is very excited to see the Women's Forum continue to grow and develop. She was formerly the events manager for the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, where the Women's Forum originated. The past president of the Tracy Kiwanis Club, Paula had been an active volunteer in the Tracy community. She recently relocated back to Tulare County where she is a Deputy District Attorney prosecuting white collar crime, but the Women's Forum and Tracy will always hold a special place in her heart.
Karen Mudd - Sutter Tracy Community Hospital Karen Mudd is recognized as an accomplished professional in the marketing arena, with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, business development and event planning in multiple professional settings. Karen has been successful in increasing market share and visibility within the community, with a passion to achieve outstanding, measurable results. Raised on the East Coast, Karen spent 8 years living and working in Silicon Valley before relocating to Tracy in 1988. A proud mother of two teenage athletic boys, she balances family, friends, work and community involvement with zest and tenacity.
Robin Nuno Robin Nuno is married to the man of her dreams and a mother of one amazing son. She values God’s blessings and loves to influence others—reaching out and lifting through the power of a positive mind and God’s word. She writes a column for the Tracy Press entitled “Dear Robin: Focusing on the Mind, Body, and Soul.” She is currently working for West Valley Christian Academy influencing young minds. She has volunteered for many years for several organizations including Toys for Tots, Brighter Christmas, and Ribbon Run. Robin has received two Letters of Accommodation from the US government.
