Victoria LaBalme brings a contagious energy to her artistry. With a skillful blend of customized comedic routines, provocative commentary, inspiring character development, mesmerizing theater, and original relevant film clips, she creates a memorable learning experience unlike anything you’ve seen before.
The value of a great stage performance is usually measured by its entertainment value. While few things open the mind and heart like good entertainment, Victoria shows the world that a great stage performance can do a lot more than entertain. It can renew one’s sense of purpose and arouse the will and passion to fulfill one’s true potential.
A graduate of Stanford University, Victoria brings over 20 years of show biz experience to her speaking engagements including film documentaries, television commercials, and scores of appearances at high-profile comedy clubs and theater festivals. Through it all, she has uncovered a rare ability to connect with every audience to open minds and hearts to her message.
As a child, Dr. Sherry Han was determined to become a doctor when she grew up. After all, she had some great role models as her family has been practicing internal medicine for three generations. Dr. Han joined Kaiser Permanente in 1999 after completing more than 12 years of medical training, including 3 years of specialized training in internal medicine.
As an Internist at Kaiser Permanente Tracy and a back-up Hospitalist at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Manteca, Dr. Han cares for her patients with a sense of dedication that is truly remarkable. For her, patient care is more than a profession, it's a passion; “caring for my patients is the most rewarding part of what I do everyday.” says Dr. Han. “They truly touch me and inspire me to do my best for them.”
As an indicator of Dr. Ham’s call to serve, a story was told that when a Kaiser Permanente member failed to answer her phone after repeated calls, Dr. Sherry Han drove over to the members home to check on her welfare and to deliver a crucial message that the member needed to be seen right away. This act may have saved the members life.
Dr. Han also handles two major administrative roles as chair of the medicine department at the Kaiser Permanente facility in Manteca and assistant chief of medicine at the Tracy facility, where her leadership style is described by those who work with her as supportive, advocating, and empowering.
Dr. Han insists her only “secret” is empowering others to do their best and leading by example. “Being a physician has been a very satisfying and rewarding experience for me. I strongly believe that a doctor should provide services of humanity: putting patients’ health first, maintaining the honor and tradition of the medical profession, and practicing with conscience and dignity.”
Her enthusiasm for service and passion to educate others on medical issues will be evident as she shares at the Tracy Women’s Forum on how you can “Enhance your Personal Health and Vitality” by sharing and discussing those health issues important to women. The goal is that though education and knowledge, you will be able to make those choices that will lead to a healthier, active, and full life for you and your family.
