Young Women's Mentoring ~
The Mentoring program is intended to provide young women with exposure to business owners,
executives, and other professionals who share a common goal to acknowledge and celebrate the
diversity of women.
Each year we select a number of young women, 17 years and older, and pair them with a TWFA
committee chairperson to work on specific tasks in the planning of our Annual Women’s Conference.
The mentees are asked to attend monthly board meetings as well as spend time with their mentor
providing updates on their assigned tasks and getting feedback on developed milestones. The
mentees gain invaluable experience interacting and collaborating with their committee chair mentors
as well as business contacts made during the planning process. Our goal is to help younger women
develop personal and professional skills, cultivate young leaders in our community, and gain a better
understanding on how to attract younger women for community service. A stipend will be offered to
each mentee for educational pursuits no later than one month after the last board meeting of the
planning year (June). The amount will vary depending on corporate sponsorships and/or grants.
Community Awareness ~
Strength of community is vital for the growth and resilience of our area. Our goal is to bolster
community involvement and highlight resources available for women throughout the region.
We will feature a ‘Community Portal’ tab on the TWF home page, inserting hyper links to other local
Non-Profit Organization’s services and events. Additionally, we will offer a regularly published
newsletter to our subscribers thus giving them an opportunity to volunteer with organizations whose
activities interest them or attend events with organizations they wish to support. The TWFA’s
ambition is to be a partner in the community and to provide an avenue to exchange timely information.
If your Non Profit Organization is interested in being featured in our Community Portal, please contact:

Women of Tracy ~
The Women of Tracy program is designed to recognize and support outstanding regional non profit
organizations and the volunteers that assist them.
Three organizations are selected each year to be highlighted during the Women of Tracy portion of
the TWFA's Annual Women's Conference. Each organization is invited to select an outstanding
volunteer who embodies the spirit of their organization’s mission. The organization and their
volunteer will be highlighted through a multimedia display, given conference time to describe
organization’s mission, and will receive a monetary gift to help further their goals. Selection of the
organization will be made by members of TWFA from a list of outstanding non profits which is compiled
based on input from the community. This will provide a greater awareness of the non profits in our
area and the services they provide.
Annual Women's Conference ~
The TWFA is known for their outstanding Women’s Conference held each year in March. With the
growth of our programs, our only fund raiser of the year has taken on an even more important role in
our community.
We provide a venue that will bring women of our area into contact with the information, resources
and organizations that will allow them to continue to strengthen their commitment to themselves and
their community. Our one day themed conference includes a motivational or informational keynote
speaker, additional local speakers to address topics specific to the theme of the year, as well as
recognition of our Women of Tracy Organizations and our Young Women Mentees.
